Vastu Guide: Correct Placement of Ganesha Idols at Home

Vastu Guide: Correct Placement of Ganesha Idols at Home
Lord Ganesha is revered as the remover of obstacles and the god of new beginnings. In Vastu Shastra, placing a Ganesha idol at the entrance or in the temple area of your home is considered highly auspicious. However, the positioning must follow specific guidelines:

1. **The Direction:** The ideal direction for placing a Ganesha idol is the North-East corner of the house, also known as the Ishan corner. Avoid placing the statue facing South.
2. **Trunk Direction:** A Ganesha idol with the trunk curved towards the left is suitable for homes, representing peace and happiness. Idols with trunks curved to the right (Siddhivinayak) require strict rituals and are usually kept in temples.
3. **Placement Don'ts:** Never place a Ganesha statue near bathrooms, under staircases, or directly facing a bedroom wall. Ensure the statue faces the interior of the house to welcome wealth inside.
